In 1962, Milanese architect Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, created for Italian company Flos, which became a classic in decor, arc floor lamp. As its name suggests, in its original design, foot arched steel is supported by a base of Carrara marble makes counterweight.
What they created it? Intention had arc floor lamp in beginning, was to illuminate a table from about two meters away. Its purpose was not to disturb guests, thus projecting light from above.
